Size:32 Ounce Unfiltered The origin of Horse Chestnut (Aesculus hippocastanum)
is the south of the Balkan Peninsula. The tree is up to 30 meters high with a
wide dense crown. The arrangement of the leaves is opposite. The leaves are up
to 25 cm in diameter, long-leaved, consist of 5 to 7 sedentary dark green
leaves, from below along veins with rare glandular pubescence. Leaflets are
shortly pointed, slightly jagged. After the leaves fall, a scar similar to a
horse horseshoe remains on the bark. The bark is gray-brown, in cracks. The
flowers are large, white, with red spots, collected in pyramidal erect
panicles, reaching 30 cm in length. Fruits are rounded green boxes seated with
spikes, 5-6 cm in diameter. The fruits ripen in September and October.
